Metadata ​

playerctl metadata --format 'Title  : {{title}}

Album  : {{album}}'

You can also create a ~/.config/playerctl/metadata-format.txt file using some cool icons:

  {{album}}

Then use it like this:

playerctl metadata --format "$(cat ~/.config/playerctl/metadata-format.txt)"
