Usage ​

python
import logging

Basic logging:

python
logging.debug('Just to debug')
logging.info('Informational log')
logging.warning('Something may be wrong')
logging.error('Could not finish something')
logging.critical('System is down')

Stop propagation ​

If adding handlers for both logging.getLogger() and logging.getLogger(name), one may want to stop the propagation of the log to the root logger.

custom_logger = logging.getLogger('custom')
custom_logger.propagate = False
