Usage ​

The Common Gateway Interface (CGI) provides functionality for retrieving HTTP request parameters, managing cookies, and generating HTML output.

ruby
require 'cgi'

To URL encode a string (uri library may also be useful):

ruby
CGI.escape('hello world')
# => "hello%20world"
